Between the performance and the art installation, Edni debuts in Aveiro

Aveiro will premiere a unique performing show that explores architecture as a media, through a magnetic field-shaped facility. Created specifically for Aveiro 2024 - Portuguese Capital of Culture, as part of the topic of the present quarter, "Culture and Sustainability," Edni will be presented on the next September 13th at 9:30 pm at Teatro Aveirense.

This show is the latest creation of both the dancer and choreographer Né Barros and the Portuguese multimedia researcher and artist John Martinho Moura. The scenic device is developed by FAHR 021.3, an internationally awarded creative and experimental studio that merges the various disciplines of art with architecture.

In Edni, scenic device is activated by performer Vivien Ingramsa and illustrates a magnetic field whose forces are represented by the artist's movement. The show represents a game of forces that creates a violent but also poetic dynamic through the relationship between a body and an object.

After the show the installation may be visited at the Teatro Aveirense between the 17th and the 28th of September, with free admission.
The ticket to the Edni show can be purchased at the box office or the Aveirian Theater website.
